Ms Zamayirha, 28, has cultivated an impressive eight-year multimedia journalism and communications career. Passionate about using development communications to empower youth and influence global dialogues, she began in traditional media at age 16 with a reflective piece on feminism. With contributions to numerous publications such as Huffington Post, City Press, and Malawi National Paper, her work has been recognised by institutions like the UNDP, Generation G Global, and leading South African universities including the University of Witwaterstrand, the University of Stellenbosch, University of Pretoria and the Nelson Mandela University and the University of Cape Town.Her broadcasting experience spans talk radio stations with the South African Broadcasting Channel, including Power FM and SA FM, and her roles as a producer and on-air personality for television shows and documentaries.
